By and large, wall ball is the way to go if you’re looking to really step up your game.

Find a brick or cement wall that’s wide and tall enough, set yourself up with an ipod and set a time limit.  ie “I’m going to spend 25 minutes at the wall today.”    Once you set your time, decide to make the most of the time you have.

Do 3 sets of everything you do.

ie.

3x (30 catches right hand, 30 catches left hand)

3x (30 quicksticks overhand righty, 30 quicksticks overhand lefty)

3x (30 sidearm righty with a cradle, 30 sidearm lefty with a cradle)

3x(30 sidearm righty quicksticks, 30 sidearm lefty quicksticks)

3x (30 weakside catches/reverse throws righty, 30 weakside catches/reverse throws lefty)

There are many more examples of skills you can practice, like over the shoulder catches, behind the back, around the world, one handed…..but this should be plenty to get you started.

If 30 catches is too much or too little, adjust it to a point that you can handle while still challenging yourself.

Whenever you practice, push yourself so that it’s not a waste of time,  If you push yourself and challenge your body and mind, you will always be improving.  Little steps….you can’t reach your ultimate goal overnight.  It’s going to take lots of little consistent steps to get there.
